The Sun Trail

The Sun Trail is the first book in the fifth series of the Warriors books.  The Book takes place years before the first book of the first series.  The main characters of the book are Gray Wing, Jagged Peak, Clear Sky, Turtle Tail, Wind, Storm and Thunder.

The book starts with The Tribe Of Rushing Water starving. They decide that some of them should leave.  Half the cats leave and find the forest where they meet other cats.  Hostility arise when the group splits in two and brothers Gray Wing and Clear Sky become bitter enemys.  By the end the seeds for the plot of the rest of the series have been planted.

The Murder Of Roger Ackroyd

The Murder Of Roger Ackroyd is the third or fourth Poirot book.  Unlike the last three, Captian Hastings is not the narrator, Dr. James Sheppard is.

The book starts explaining that Mrs. Ferras, who was suspected to have murdered her last husband, died. Ralph, Mr.Ackroyd's stepson from his previous marrige is suspected of his stepfather's murder.  Ralph goes missing and his fiance' Flora Acroyd, Mr.Ackroyds sister in law's duaghter wants Poirot to find him and prove him innocent.  By the end of the book you find out Ralph was already married to someone else and also who the murderer was.  I it was such  a ttwist I will leave it to you to find out.

I give this book 5✩s

My review is that it was the best book in the series so far.  The author, Agatha Christie, is known to have said it was her masterpiece.

 This Volume Of The Complete Peanuts are the strips from 1969 to 1970.

Plot
Some of the events that happened in the book are Lucy throwing Schroeder's piano into the kite eating tree and Snoopy  looking for his mom and after that getting dog sat by the Van Pelts. Snoopy also creates a book in this treasury and the first one reads:

It was a dark and stormy night. Suddenly, a shot rang out. A door slammed. The maid screamed. Suddenly, a pirate ship appeared on the horizon! While millions of people were starving, the king lived in luxury. Meanwhile, on a small farm in Kansas, a boy was growing up.

Part 2 Reads:
A light snow was falling and the little girl with the tattered shawl had not sold a violet all day. At that very moment, a young intern at City Hospital was making an important discovery. The mysterious patient in room 213 had finally awakened. She moaned softly. Could it be that she was the sister of the boy in Kansas who loved the the girl with the tattered shawl who was the daughter of the maid who had escaped from the pirates? The intern frowned.

After showing Linus the book, Linus says that he forgot about the king.

I Rate This Book 4 Stars ✭✭✭✭

I think this book is pretty good but it could've been funnier. Also, the cover is Snoopy flying his plane even though he only wears the costume in the book itself. The next one I'm going to review is 1957-1958 so look forward to that!
