The Complete Peanuts 1955 to 1956

This is review of the 1955 through 1956 collection of peanuts comic strips by Charles M. Schultz.

HIGHLIGHTS OF 1955 THROUGH 1956:

One of the most important parts of these years in the peanuts franchise is that Pig Pen was introduced. Pig Pen is the kid who's always dirty and Patty and Violet hate him. The memorable Pig Pen strip is when he tells Patty and Violet that he's well read, meaning that you shouldn't judge him like judging a book by its cover. The three other three mall, things in these two years are Linus' first spoken words, Snoopy does a lot of impersonations and Charlie Brown gets humiliated during a baseball game for the first time.

REVIEW: I give this book 4 stars ★★★★.

The strips were really funny and it made me crack up. The two things I didn't really like were that Charlie Brown got too many stomach aches and the art wasn't very good during this time of the comics.

I will be doing more book reviews later and I'll see you soon!

The Complete Peanuts 1969-1970

This Volume Of The Complete Peanuts are the strips from 1969 to 1970.

Plot
Some of the events that happened in the book are Lucy throwing Schroeder's piano into the kite eating tree and Snoopy  looking for his mom and after that getting dog sat by the Van Pelts. Snoopy also creates a book in this treasury and the first one reads:

It was a dark and stormy night. Suddenly, a shot rang out. A door slammed. The maid screamed. Suddenly, a pirate ship appeared on the horizon! While millions of people were starving, the king lived in luxury. Meanwhile, on a small farm in Kansas, a boy was growing up.

Part 2 Reads:
A light snow was falling and the little girl with the tattered shawl had not sold a violet all day. At that very moment, a young intern at City Hospital was making an important discovery. The mysterious patient in room 213 had finally awakened. She moaned softly. Could it be that she was the sister of the boy in Kansas who loved the the girl with the tattered shawl who was the daughter of the maid who had escaped from the pirates? The intern frowned.

After showing Linus the book, Linus says that he forgot about the king.

I Rate This Book 4 Stars ✭✭✭✭

I think this book is pretty good but it could've been funnier. Also, the cover is Snoopy flying his plane even though he only wears the costume in the book itself. The next one I'm going to review is 1957-1958 so look forward to that!

North

This is a review of the book North by Alan Zweibel. I personally liked this book a lot.

Plot
Once upon a time there was a kid named North who was great at everything. His only problem was that his parents only thought about themselves and didn't pay any attention to him. North decides to try and become a free agent by going around the world looking for better parents. When the court trial came, North's "folks" were paralyzed with fear and didn't say anything. Because of that, North won the trial and set of to find the folks that he wanted.

I rate this book 4 1/2 stars ✭✭✭✭❖

I thought this book was good because it was funny yet not too much. There ARE a lot of stereo types in this book though. There is also a movie of this book but it stank! it adds to many things and changes the ending completely! I give that movie 0 stars!

I will be back with more reviews soon!
