The Fourth Stall Part II

The Fourth stall part II is the second book in the fourth stall trilogy by Chris Rylander.

The book starts with the main characters from the last book hanging out in the office.  Then a girl named Trixie Von Parkway walks in.  Mac asks her what her problem is and she says she used to go to a different school where she had a boyfriend who she broke up with and there dad was a teacher and had tracked her down to this school and was giving her detention.  Mac takes the case and decides to get more facts.  He and Vince are going to sign up for baseball tryouts and the coach is Mr. Kjlson, the teacher who hats Trixie.  Mac and Vince talk to him and he is very nice.  They also find lots of strange thing happening around the school including fast food lunches, poop in lockers among others.  The facts about Trixie's past and Mr. Kjlson aren't adding up and with Vice Pricivel George on his trail this might be the hardest case yet.

I give this book 4 of 5 stars.

This book is very good because its a comedy but you can take it seriously.  It also has a moral that money corrupts.

Animal Farm

All animals are equal.  But some are more equal then others.  The book animal farm was written in 1645 by George Orwell.  This book is a satire and parody of the Russian revolution and Stalinist era.

At the start of the book Old Major, an old pig, gives a speech.  (Old Major is Lenin.)  In his speech he talks about a revolution.  He then dies in his sleep the next day.  The animals revolt on the farmer.  Farmer Jones runs away and the animals get to work.  Snowball and Napoleon have debates on what should happen.  Snowball has the public's approvel and plans to build a windmill.  The 7 animal commandments are made.  the list.

1: Whatever goes on two legs is an enemy

2: whatever goes upon four legs, or wings, is a freind

3: No animal shall wear clothes

4: No animal shall sleep in a bed

5: No animal shall drink alcohol

6: No animal shall kill another animal

7: all animals are equal.

The animals also chant "Four legs good! two legs bad!" all the time, most of all the sheep.  The sheep always listen to Napoleon.  Boxer the horse two.  The animals decide the retirement age for all the animals and animals get back to work.  Napoleon  takes some puppies and raises then to be his bodyguards.  Napoleon chases snowball out and rules by fear.  Napoleon and his pig friends start to drink alcohol, sleep in beds, kill so called traitors, wear clothes and then walk on two legs.  They then change the chant to "Four legs good! two legs better!"  The other farmers come and Napoleon changes the farm back to its original name, Manor Farm.  The pigs and humans start to play cards.  When the other animals look in they can't tell the pigs from the humans.

I give this book 5✩s.

My review is that it was awesome.  Different from most old books.  If you wish this book had a happy ending, go see the movies of it.  The cool thing is the moral.  The pigs and the rest are ruled by fear of Farmer Jones.  And then the rest of the animals are ruled by fear of Napoleon!  Be careful in you get power.  You might turn out as bad as the last dictator.
