Tiger

Hi, welcome to another book review.  This is of the first book in the five ancestors series.  This is the second time I have read the series.  I also found out they are making a second series!  Anyway, i'll get to the review.

At the start of the book, Fu, Malao, Seh, Hok and Long are hiding in a barrel.They are masters of Tiger, Monkey, Snake, Crane and Dragon kung fu.  The live at Cangzhen temple.  Cangzhen is in the middle of the woods and is a place of peace.  Fu, Malao, Seh, Hok and Long are all temple brothers.  Their former temple brother Ying, which means Eagle left the temple one year ago swearing revenge on the grandmaster.  Fu and the rest are hiding in the barrel because a bunch of soldiers led by Ying are attacking the temple.  When they are found by Ying, grandmaster defends them by attacking Ying.  Ying explains that the rest of the monks are dead.  Grandmaster tells them to scatter and discover the secrets of their past.  He also tells them to try to change Ying and the emporer's heart.  Ying is working with the emporer.  Fu, Malao, Seh, Hok and Long all split up in the trees.  Fu decides to return and help grandmaster.  Grandmaster is killed by Ying and Ying is upset that grandmaster killed his father.  Ying also explains that he wants the dragon scrolls.  Ying is a eagle but always wanted to be a dragon.  Fu then takes the dragon scrolls so that Ying can't have them.  Fu runs into a soldier named Tonglong, which means praying mantis, who is Ying's second in command.  Fu then runs into the trees...

This is not the end of the book.  But at the end of this one something happens.  Then In book 2 it starts back at the begining!  In book 2 it goes further into the story though.

My review is that it starts strangly. and that if it started differently it might not be as confusing.
